I didn't mention the copper dome on the Painesville City Hall, which was the Lake County Court House in the 19th century. It's chemically treated so that it never develops a green patina. I've never seen that anywhere else, but I suspect it's not unusual. Hopefully you saw it, because it's striking.
if you didn't care for El Senor, there are more recent ones getting great reviews (but great to know teacherdad liked it. Californians are always the toughest critics of Mex. food )--

and again, this one in Painesville Township, El Taco Macho, which seems to have a more expansive menu--

I was able to get to Mojo's Coffee in Bay Village. Very polite and friendly atmosphere. hadn't had caffeine in about 6 weeks. I do believe their house coffee is similar to Peets. It was 38 degrees and I was sweating from the caffeine as I walked a few blocks. LOL

Had their egg, spinach, tomato, and avo sandwich. $4.79! That would be $8 at home.

Took pics of Pickle Bill's, Fish House across the street, drove around Mentor on the Lake, RR, Lakewood Park, etc. Tried to just cruise around before I had to get to the airport.

Thanks for all the great tips!
