And University Hospitals does the same thing too. This Intensa development looks pretty awesome. It would be nice if the parking garage on Mayfield had retail at the bottom.

So what are the options for city now that voters have rejected the tax for the Waterfront Plan?

The plan is to explain and promote the issue and have back on the ballot as soon as May; some feel the issue wasn't properly explained to the voters. This proposal is expected to eventually pass and should not replicate the light-rail levy Columbus voters turned-down on more than one occasion to the point that COTA gave up on the plan altogether.

I agree. The promotion of the levy was caught up in all of the other election noise. Even though I certainly did vote for it, you barely noticed it was a ballot issue outside of a few 15 second spots.

That's actually not what happened at all. It's been voted on exactly one time, and even then, the ballot question did not mention light rail whatsoever. So I guess in terms of promotion, they sound similar, but there hasn't actually been a real vote on light rail in Columbus.

I think the Cleveland plan is pretty cool as I've long thought the waterfront was very underused. I hope it passes there eventually.

This could define a new way of living for Clevelanders.

personally I don't need a lot of space to live so I could see myself living in one of these.
