This will be a real asset to Cleveland. What a great idea to in-fill the adjacent strip along the Red Line. It's practically built-in already and looks like it just needs landscaping etc. Hope it gets moving soon.

Berries and mushrooms coming: Innovative 'biocellar' in Cleveland's Hough area has open house Friday | cleveland.com

I know this is small and somewhat old, but would have been worth checking out. I'm leaving any visions of Hough dancing in the sun as an urban version of Napa Valley to the side, but it would be nice if this and other similar developments in the area help it continue to improve.

I went here a few weeks ago to check it out. It's pretty awesome, and definitely a positive in that neighborhood. That, along with the nearby restored League Park have the potential to serve as anchors for some neighborhood rejuvination. Mansfield Frasier, the founder of the vinyard and bio-cellar, is a visionary, and we're lucky to have him here in Cleveland.

Other than the slightly over-the-top sappy music, an awesome aerial perspective of the For Sale infill that's happening in Cleveland's Battery Park. Future phases are easy to spot.

Here's the development's website:

Battery Park

This area is really helping the increase of young families and professionals moving back into the city limits ... Influx of population and income.

OMG slightly over-the-top sappy music? That's quite an understatement. That music belongs in a Disney movie, not in a video showcasing a new development, with its sign on a former smokestack, in a somewhat gritty area of Cleveland. If you put it on mute though, it's a cool video .

Millions for demolition within reach for Cleveland and inner-ring suburbs | cleveland.com
Mixed feelings on this and whether it will spur more growth or just be a waste of money.

Metroparks' Whiskey Island bridge design job sought by four engineering teams | cleveland.com
Was looking at this and initially very excited. Still am, but it seems like route will almost require walking near or past Lakeview Terrace. Would this discourage people from taking this from Downtown/Ohio City area, and would it add additional security concerns for the island?
