I might even move downtown if it gets to be as nice as planned! But i do have one question..do you think there will be any kind of tall tall buildings like key tower to be build in the future?? I would like to see Cleveland become a fortune 500 city like it used to be!

Im sure there will be someday but probably not in the next 5 years or so. They are constructing some 20 story buildings though. They have a lot of buildings being proposed for Cleveland, Ill have to look it up and see if they are proposing any tall buildings.

Speaking of fortune 500 companies, I was at a meeting the other day and found out something interesting for all of Ohio.
So as far as fortune 500 companies go, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland all have a good number of them. And that is the most per state, as far as being spread out and in other cities, we rank 2nd in the nation, only behind Texas. Pretty interesting.

Yep, Here's where Cleveland makes the list:

We're actually gained one since last year.

to the "movers/shakers" of cleveland development; we know our labor costs are higher here in cleveland and in ohio compared to the right-to-work states of the south and west.. so why not "package deals" for exsisting or out of state companies that are better competively for them ? ie.- yes our labor cost is higher (but better trained/skilled) but we will offer lower utility costs, lower taxes and an abundance of fresh water to offset any doubt a company may have about relocating here.. what is cleveland doing to get business back here !? and to the folks against tax-abatements i say abated taxes are better than no tax revenue at all.

I think people are going to be moving back into Cleveland someday due to water shortages. That means, Cleveland will really be building up. When this will happen, I'm not sure, but this is just my opinion.

Hopefully. It would be great to see Cleveland finally growing and thriving again.

There's a new tower crane over in University Circle for the new University Hospitals building. This is quite a large project.
