I'd figured I would add this renovation to the list:
Joint venture plans $64 million makeover of Crowne Plaza in downtown Cleveland - Cleveland Business News - Northeast Ohio and Cleveland - Crain's Cleveland Business

I usually like brick, but here it was too much in one place and it was such an eye sore!

Also I saw this article about Erieview Tower in the paper today.
Tower at Erieview in downtown Cleveland avoids foreclosure; owner, mezzanine lender buy note | cleveland.com

Glad to see this area getting some investment

This thread is really slowing down but I'm hoping someone can give me an answer. Does anyone know what the construction between the IX Center and Hopkins International is? My assumption is another airport tower but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere online, which is a surprise considering there's a not so inconspicuous 300 foot tall crane in the air there. Thank you in advance.

Freeze and thaw all winter long, plus the lack of money in the city takes its toll on our roads. It's a fact of life here, but at least our roads don't sink into the earth like they do in New Orleans.

Which ones? Many of the bad ones are in the process of being redone.

Btw, many cities that have heavy road travel, freeze/thaw cycles, and salt-aided snow removal are in the same situation. Maybe if we didn't drop so many bombs...
