Renting in Independence and Surrounding Area (Parma: for sale, real estate, apartment)

I am moving to OH from UT and need some advice on good neighborhoods in and around the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence. Also, rent or try and buy...which is better in that part of town? Is it even reasonable to think that I could rent a good 2 bedroom 1 bath place for what I pay here in Utah ($600)? Also, where would I look for some rental listings? Any and all help would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Try cleveland.com and look at real estate classifieds (cuyahoga-southwest), if nothing there, maybe apartmentguide.com, move.com, rent.com. Rent first, you never know if you want to stay in Independence(not even sure there is a lot apts in Independence) or might want to look at some other areas. For $600 check out Parma or Parma hts, too. Welcome and good luck!!!

Try looking for rentals in Craigslist. You can search by location and price. Many of the ads have pictures. Here is the link.
