Default FYI regarding Cleveland Clinic and CWRU

I brought this up a while ago, and quite a few people wanted more information, but I only knew from inside talk/forums as a Case employee. The PD had an article today:

Clinic considers ending affiliation with Case - Cleveland's Top Story from The Plain Dealer

I have to believe this would be bad news for Case...but maybe if they stopped ripping people off and being more people oriented customers/students wouldn't want to sever ties.

Case sucks anyways. Only people who think it's good are people from Cleveland and students there. Hopefully once the Clinic severs ties people will see Case for what it really is, a crappy outdated med program with an inefficient director.

Case is a good school. It isn't on par with the Ivies, of course, but it's just a step below. Its peers are Carnegie-Mellon, Rochester, Washington (St. Louis), etc., etc.

As for the Clinic forming a new association with Columbia, I think that hurts Case to some extent, but not the city. In fact I think it could end up helping the Clinic in the long run.
