Exclamation Looking 4 Upscale Subdivisions W/ small lots

My parents are looking to move back to the area (east of cleveland), because they have grandkids here now. They are having trouble finding a place to build their retirement house. They are very specific on what they are looking for.

A small lot (.25 acre) in an upscale subdivision to build a VERY nice smaller house (around 2500 sq ft), This house will have the best of materials and high end everything. They dont want a huge house because they are empty nesters.

Dad is very much into golf and they are social people. They want neighbors who are friendly and like to have get togethers.

They have found many nice places but they property is an acre or more at about $160,000. Money is not the issue, they just dont want so much land, they would rather put that $$ into a higher end house.

So does anyone know of anyplace like this in the Cleveland area? East side, West side, Hudson, anywhere?

Sagamore Hills. Eaton Estates already has lots of big houses in small lots, and there's empty land near it as well.

I recommend they look in the Beachwood/Lyndhurst area, especially around Cedar/Richmond Rds. There's a golf course right there, and they've been building new condos. There's also an area right by Legacy Village that was selling small lots, there's probably space still left.

For what your parents want it seems to me their best bet would be a small lot in a golf community? This might be too far east, but have you checked out building lots around Quail Hollow golf club in Concord? When the course was built there in the mid-90's it was named one of the top new upscale public courses by Golf Digest. Aberdeen (Stone Water Golf Club in highland heights) which was already mentioned is a good choice too but I think the lots there are expensive compared to Quail Hollow.
