You may have a hard time finding anything like Long Island in the western suburbs of Cleveland, but there are a lot of nice areas in that neck of the woods that you should consider looking in to.

I disagree. East Coast feel are the immediate west side suburbs - IE Lakewood, Rocky River, Fairview, Berea, etc and same with immediate east side suburbs... Cleveland Hts, Shaker, Euclid, etc. Further out on the east side is anything but east coast feel. Whenever I am in Mentor or Aurora to Beachwood or Geagua - I can't help but feel in a laid back (ie midwestern feel) areas that are relatively rural compared to my west side of cleveland familiarities. Of course I have noticed you do seem to put the East side on a higher level - passive aggressively like in this post I just quoted you on. And Clevelander, have you ever been to Long Island? Sure, it's east coast - but it's mainly REALLY nice areas. And yes, I have family there and I could compare their area to say Westlake over Painseville. Again, please stop saying they wouldn't find anything on the west side when you probably haven't been outside your house.
