Default is there a food market district in Cleveland?

I'm new to OH and live about half an hour south of Cleveland downtown. Does Cleveland has any food market district or area that sells variety of food (meat/fruits/spices/seafood/oriental/cheese etc.)?

I went to visit friends in Pittsburgh, they took me to a strip district and I love it. So I'm wondering if Cleveland has anything like that. Thanks.

Talking an additional note...

...as much as I love the Strip (and Penn Mac, specifically) I greatly appreciate the fact that it's all consolidated under 1 roof (ok, 2 technically) at the West Side Market. Parking is easier too. It's great not having to lug bags of meat from Wholeys all the way down to the other end of Penn to grab stuff at Enrico Biscotti.

There is also a chinese food market. It's on the near east side of cleveland. I believe East 30th and Payne. If you are looking for that.

all your Asian needs can be meet here:
http://www.asiatowncleveland.com/shopping.asp
Asia Market on St Clair and Good Harvest on Payne are my favorites. they are right around the corner from one another. Check them all out. The Asian restaurants and bakery are good too-they are on another link on the website. This area is on the eastern fringes of downtown.

Westside Market West Side Market, Cleveland Ohio has about everything! Also right around the corner on Lorain ave-just west of the Market by one block is Athens Foods. It is good for all your Greek/Romanian etc food needs. Walk one block more west and you will have a German Market- Import Haus. This area is just west of downtown

My favorite Italian store is Galluchis. It is less than 10 minutes east of downtown. Italian food and specialty items from Gallucci's.

And if you get hungry, when you are there and don't feel like snacking on the food from the market...here are the area restaurants...I personally recommend the Souper Market......http://www.ohiocity.com/index.cgi?id=131&l=2&p=3726
