Ohio taxes are remarkably complex. In addition to a state income tax, many cities have "wage" taxes too. On top of that, some areas collect school taxes via a property tax, while others through an income tax.
To make this even more complex, some cities have reciprocity agreements, some have partial-reciprocity agreements and some have no reciprocity agreement at all. What this means is you could have wage tax offsets in living in one city while working in another, or not.
The starting point is "are you earning money via work or other means"? If via work, you need to understand the potential "wage tax" structure of where you would be working and residing.
Good luck, it is remarkably complicated.
