Does anyone else see the pattern here? All of the areas mentioned are strongly African American. I am not a racist , but can't help but wonder why?

Actually, some of the west side areas mentioned are predominantly white and Hispanic. The "worst areas" are almost always the poorest areas for various reasons. Why a higher percentage of African Americans are poor than other races is a whole different discussion.

93/105 street, I was praying that my car won't break down.
The condition of road and building were as wild as the resident in that area. And I don't think everything happened there will be reported and documented.
Don't be mistaken with me, I am from the other town with higher ranking of homocide rate than Cleveland.

The westside is a different story than the Eastside. On the Eastside you have very large areas that are almost all bad, but on the Westside the worst areas usually aren't all bad and there is some nice streets or pockets mixed in.
The worst areas on the westside IMO are in the "triangle" area which if I remember correctly its borders are West 25th/Pearl, Denison, and Lorain. It includes parts or all of the neighborhoods of Clark-Fulton, Stockyards, Ohio City, Brooklyn Centre, and Detroit-Shoreway. I was born in the middle of that off Storer Ave. Again, that entire area isn't all bad though. There is still a rough area of Tremont near that area. Another bad area is W130th and Puritas/Bellaire. Some areas off of Madison are pretty bad, especially as you go south on W73rd or W76th. Theres a few other bad pockets as well. The Eastside is definitely worse overall though.

Most crimes aren't documented in Cleveland. Have you ever been robbed? I called the cops, they showed up at my house 2 hours later and said nothing could be done and suggested I be more vigilant. LOL

I just saw that list that you're talking about and it's very misleading. Most Dangerous Neighborhoods - WalletPop
All they use to get it is a simple formula of dividing the crimes by number of people in the area, and whichever is the worst (most crimes per person) that's what they say is the most dangerous.
If you look through the list you will notice that most of them are almost completely abandoned. One on the list is an area in Chicago south of where Robert Taylor used to be, that area is almost 100% vacant lots/non-residential. The area in Cleveland shown includes the area around Ashland ave. next to the tracks and almost all of those blocks are 90%+ vacant lots or abandoned houses.

Why is that misleading? Many crimes happen in the abandoned areas because they're abandoned. Aren't you the one always arguing per capita crime rates are the best way to compare statistics?
Edit, I see your point that the low population increases the rate, but I think that makes an area even more dangerous not many people around and many crimes being committed makes for a very dangerous area).
