I have lived in North Ridgeville for a couple years now but am moving back to Lorain soon (not by choice). Its a pretty nice, and quiet suburban place for the most part. There is hardly any crime over here and depending on where you live, sometimes people call the cops on you just for having parties or playing music too loud, which is a good thing or bad thing depending on what you like. People also call the cops sometimes just if you walk down the street and look suspicious. I had to get used to this stuff when I moved here because I grew up in Central Lorain which is another world compared to how nice it is here.
The demographics are: Its a mostly white suburb, Im gonna say maybe 90%. There is a good amount of asians but hardly anything else and not many African-Americans. Poverty rate is low. Mostly upper middle to upper class. North Ridgeville has been growing very fast for the past 5 years or so. They are building new houses and subdivisions all over the place. It has a lot of land area but not really any bad areas, there are a few areas that are more blue collar though but most of it is somewhat wealthy. Housing is actually pretty cheap here compared to other suburbs. The schools are good, but not quite as good as other suburbs. The schools are also kind of packed now since there is all the new people moving in, I heard they are planning on building new ones though.
