The Indians have finally been making a comeback lately. As of todays game, they have won 7 in a row and have a record of 62-67. They are now only 1.5 games behind Detroit.

While that's nice, lets see them win 7 more in-a-row and you may be on to something. I don't give a lot of value to sweeps of the lowly Royals & Rangers. Third or Fourth place doesn't really matter to me, although it would be nice to see them go into Detroit and sweep and take some pride in themselves. I can't believe Minnesota continues to contend every season, pretty impressive being they have such a low payroll and lose stars all the time i.e. Santana, Hunter, Ortiz, etc. Only 33 games remain for the Indians though and they are 12 GB, which means they'd have to pull off a massive miracle losing at most 5 games, going 28-5 the rest of the season which would put them at 90-72, near where the White Sox & Twins will probably end up - hey, we can dream can't we...haha - realistically, think they'll end up around 80-82.

The Indians are currently winning thier game 4-0 against the Tigers. If they win today it will be thier 9th win in a row,and thier record would be 64-67.I hope they can get back over .500 this year. That would be an amazing thing considering it wasn't that long ago that they had one of the worst records in baseball.Obviouslly I wish they would have been in a pennant race right now,but its still nice to see them play very good like they have over the past month and a half.

That is something that I have been looking forward to as they have stacked up on the wins. Jacobs Field was quite packed during their last series at home.

Standings don't matter now
Only thing matters is that Cliff keeps winning his games...Any game he's not pitching is pretty much pointless...But it is good to get hot at the end of the year, We should get to play the spoiler for some team looking to get into the playoffs.
