[Cleveland Sports Talk]
This thread is being created to talk about Cleveland sports.
Once again, please do not fight, post inappropriate material, or attack people personally just because of their views.
Cleveland is a huge sports city, with an interesting sports past. We have amazing stories to talk about, so lets get them started, just remember to stay calm, lol because I know sports talk can get crazy.
P.S. This is not just limited to Cleveland, we can talk about other sports teams here in NE Ohio. From our colleges to our highschool games. We have some very large universities here in NE Ohio, that also, have awesome sports history too. Also, lets not forget, we are home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Even more of a reason for us to have a sports thread.
Cleveland, Akron, Canton and Youngstown. One of the best sports regions in the country.... don't you think?

The Indians just won there game 13-8 over The Baltimore Orioles. They were up 7-3,and ended up giving up the lead and being down 8-7.Then the Indians scored another 6 runs to win 13-8.Fausto didn't pitch very well,so it was a good thing the offense did so good. The win was there 4th in a row,and they are now 53-64.Its been a bad year for them so I like it when they score a ton of runs.

^ Thanks for the first post! Lets hope it can be a success.
You know, the Indians have been doing a lot of that lately, giving up the lead. But hey, what is this, their third win in a row?
Plus, lets not forget about the injuries that have plagued the Indians.

I think if they would have had a healthy Victor Martinez and Travis Hafner in the lineup they would have been a much better offensive team.Even if they had Victor,Travis, and Jake Westbrook though I still don't think they would have been that good, maybe a .500 team. The bullpen has just been terrible this year. Its a shame too because last year The Indians has one of the best bullpens in the game.I wish there was a salary cap in baseball too, because without one its hard for mid market teams like the Indians to resign any of thier really good players like CC Sabathia.Only a handful of teams in the league can give the really good players the big money. So its going to be hard for them to make any huge improvements in the off-season.

I agree 100%.
I know they carried the fact that the Indians were expected AGAIN, this year to have one of the best bullpens in the league, but injuries plagued that.
New York, Boston and Chicago are the big markets, many others are not even getting the attendance that even the Indians are getting. And some of these teams are over the .500 mark.

Well and you never know next year they could be good once again.Nobody expected them to go 96-66 last year and nearly get to the World Series. It sucks that they couldn't beat the Red Sox after going up 3-1 in the ALCS against them.Me and alot other Indians fans I've talked to firmly believe they would have beaten the Rockies in the World Series. You just kind of have to wait and see what happens in the season. You never know whats going to happen.Good or bad though I will always be a fan of the Cleveland sports teams.

And thats what makes us the most loyal anywhere. Sometimes our teams have those down years, but they can somehow make that huge bounce back, and I hope the Indians do that next year.

I heard Lebron is a traitor and is counting down the days until he can get away from Cleveland and be traded to the New York Knicks. Thats just what I heard though, but from what we all see Im pretty sure its true. All I ask of Lebron is that he doesnt forget where he came from and that he can give us at least 1 championship while hes on the Cavs, I think he still has 2 or so more years.

We won't really find out til after the 2010 season is over.Hopefully he stays. But if he doesn't,thats his choice.I think it would be much harder to play NYC then in Cleveland.

Who did the Indians get for their trade of our one pitcher? Or did they get money?
