Shooting at Willoughby South highschool
Just came on the news... A student went into the school with a hand gun and shot twice at the trophy case. He then held the gun to his head. The principle talked him out of taking his own life.. He is now in custody and the school is in lockdown.
What did the trophy case do to deserve this?

Wow.
I noticed this year a lot of stuff has been happening in the suburbs. They had a murder in some eastside suburb and then the murder in Barberton which is very unusual.

i was there
im a student at south and i was shocked when this all happened. i was in band, with a substitute, when this all happend. our principla came on the PA system and told us we were in lock down. we thought it was a drill. until one student came in and told us there were police in the halls and a kid with a gun. we freaked out. we didnt know what would happen. we sat in our classrooms for 45 minutes before we were evacuated out to the baseball field. during the wait, the kid shot at the ceiling. then walked towards the front office and shot at the trophy case. he had the gun pointed at his head. our vice principal is he man who convinced the student to put the gun down. my brother is one of the first people to call the police. he saw the shooter and imediatley ran to his classroom and called the police. when we were evacuated, we stayed at the baseball field for atleast 3o minutes. we were eventually able to leave and go to our parents. this was a scary day at Willoughby South High School. me, being a freshman. my first year, second week. i never thought this would happen.

In Lorain, stuff like this happens a few times each school year. Not with people shooting inside the school but similar things.

Barberton is like 45 min away from Cleveland. Over an hour from Willoughby. What does that have to do with cleveland?
