Default New Job in Avon Lake

I am considering a new job in Avon Lake and am wondering where to live that would be rural but still be a reasonable commute, maybe 30 minutes or less.

If that is not an option, what would be some good suburb neighborhoods where the houses are not right on top of each other.

As someone who frequents the west side of Cleveland, I know the area pretty well. You should know that Avon Lake and the surrounding communities are pretty rural suburban communities. If you want a true rural area though, you could look into Carlisle Township, LaGrange and Grafton. This is basically farm country and you'll see horses and tractors. The commute, however, probably will take about a 30 minutes or so on the long country roads. Some suburbs to look into are Avon, North Ridgeville and Westlake. I prefer Westlake for all the amenities (rec center, good schools, Crocker Pard-an outdoor mall), but I encourage you to take a drive around the area to find out what fits you best

The only places considered semi-rural near Avon Lake is Sheffield Township. Westlake, Lorain, N Ridgeville aren't rural. N Ridgeville and Avon are growing fast as well.
