How nice to see something about Cleveland that isn't a depressing spew of crime/unemployment and why everyone should leave now! We'd seriously considered relocating but the negativity is overwhelming.

I think Cleveland, like any city, has had quite a colorful history - but hopefully we can provide a counter balance to any negativity by sharing the positive aspects of Cleveland

Nature lovers rejoice! The Cleveland Metroparks are what some local residents call the best kept secret of the city. With over 20,000 acres of nature and trails for the public to explore, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, going to the zoo and horse riding are just some of the outdoor recreational activities you can enjoy while taking in the beautiful landscape.

I've been in about 30+ states and even europe a couple times, and I love it here in Cleveland. I've decided I'm staying for the long haul.

That's great, Costello! I didn't hear about the West Side Market being honored, but it certainly deserves it!
For those of you who don't know about the market, it's a place where hundreds of vendors gather together in one place, all selling fresh, culturally diverse foods... even people who don't consider themselves culinary enthusiasts would be excited about the food there

Located at the Rock Hall's main stage, this will be a musical celebration of ethnic diversity and tradition. In addition to local vendors selling products and foods that add to the cultural flavor, entertainment will be provided by Brazilian, Jamaican, Latino, Native American, Middle Eastern and Serbian groups - and all cultures and ethnicities will be honored. Artist Matthew Ryan Sharp unveiled his latest exhibit “The Approachable Darkness” at the Artchitecture Gallery earlier this month. From what I’ve seen, his work has a really cool/gritty/underground vibe. You can catch all 85 pieces of Sharp’s artwork on display until November 14th. But be sure to make an appointment during weekdays if you’d like a viewing, or swing by on Saturday or Sunday between 12 to 4 PM – admission is free!
Venue
Artchitecture Gallery
1667 East 40th Street, Unit 1A
