Well woke up this morning to a couple of inches of snow on the ground! I think winter is finally here. Its dreary here so I do not think the sun will be melting the snow anytime soon.
Airics- I do not think your ORDERING worked! Snow was only suppose to come on Christmas day.

We're driving from Maine to Warren next Saturday to spend Thanksgiving with family. What's the long range forecast?

10 Day Weather Forecast for Warren, OH (44483) - weather.com says it's going to be a high of 39° in Warren next Saturday. I would check right before you leave.....the weather is always bound to change, especially in NE Ohio. Have a safe trip.

Well, I'm sure he has seen the first snow...but he'll be getting some good accumulations now...
A lake effect snow warning remains in effect until 4 pm est tuesday.
Lake effect snow will affect the snowbelt tonight with intermittent snow squalls drastically reducing visibility. Some thunder is also possible in the heavy squalls.
The snow will be heavy at times tonight, with 6 to 10 inches of snow possible by Monday morning. Areas of higher terrain could see locally higher amounts, possibly more than a foot of snow by daybreak Monday. As the west winds turn more to the northwest the bands of snow will be pushed further inland later tonight into monday.
During the day Monday, additional accumulation of 4 to 6 inches can be expected with local amounts of up to 8 inches possible where squalls persist.
Lake effect snow will continue into Tuesday with additional moderate to heavy accumulations likely.
Precautionary/preparedness actions,
In lake effect snow the weather can vary from locally heavy snow in narrow bands to clear skies just a few miles away. If you will be traveling across the region be prepared for rapid changes in road and visibility conditions. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio and other radio and tv stations for further details or updates.

From now, for the next week or so, there are multiple cold fronts coming in from the NW out of Canada and with the cold temperatures it will make it a lot easier for snow to develop. Across NE Ohio the highs are only around 35-40 for the next week or so and the lows around 25-30, so there is a good chance that we could all see at least a little bit of snow.

Wet feet
He has seen quite a bit and absolutely loves it. He sends me pictures almost daily of something pretty in the snow, for me its just like a picture post card. I have told him he needs snow boots but so far he is refusing to buy them. He went shooting thanksgiving day and laying around on the frozen ground didnt bother him at all, but he did say he got wet feet.
he is still wearing tshirts and trackies all the time, so if you see a rather large man with a shaved head walking around Mentor/Fairport/Painesville with only a tshirt on, go up and say G'day, oh then explain what the coins are, he is struggling with the different coins you have. we only have, 5cent, 10 cent, 20 cent , 50 cent, $1 and $2 coins here, no pennies and no $1 notes.
I hope your all enjoying your cold weather while we sweat away here in Brisbane in the 90 degree heat.
