Commuting time from Ohio City/Lakewood to Beachwood (Cleveland, Cleveland Heights: apartments, neighborhood)

How long is the commute from Ohio City and from Lakewood to Beachwood? My husband and I are moving from NYC to Cleveland, and I'm wondering if those are difficult commutes during rush hour. Any chance he could use rapid transit?

We've seen some apartments we like in Cleveland Heights around Coventry. I'm assuming that's a really easy commute to Beachwood, but we'd also like to check out the west side if the commute isn't too bad.

I drive from O.C. to Shaker which is right next to Beachwood. Takes me approx. 20 minutes, obviously depending on traffic. There is a rapid that runs out through shaker actually. It takes a while though cause you take a rapid line into Tower City downtown and have to switch over to another one to get out to Shaker.

Have you looked in the University Circle area, it's east side and is in my opinion the next hot neighborhood in C-town.
