Cost cutting?
My understanding is that every city is cutting back on dropping salt, due to a shortage and cost cutting measures. Has anyone noticed the incidents of accidents on the rise lately? What cost is that in loss of a family member, time off work, repair cost? This myopic approach is simplistic management and reactive vs proactive. In addition, I have heard of city service managers being held liable on two occcassions already and the winter season has even begun. Won't that raise cost in increased taxes in the future?
