Totally not part of this conversation, but technically he is right. Race is a social construct and doesn't even make sense biologically, so "racism" isn't a very correct term. Discrimination is more appropriate. That's why I always laugh when people say "reverse racism." What does that even mean?
I read a really interesting paper (I'm sorry I don't have time to find the citation right now) that said race as we know it came about when early scientists were measuring the circumference of people's heads. They thought head size indicated something about brain size/intelligence, fertility, and natural selection. Somehow it came out that Mongoloids/Asians were superior to Caucazoids/Whites, who were superior to Negroids/Blacks/Hispanics. These terms are really antiquated, but you can still see this hierarchy of supremacy today with the idea that lighter-skinned people generally have it better than dark-skinned people, regardless of where you are on the spectrum.

Sorry, but this thread is not making you look intelligent at all. Maybe you should have stayed in Cleveland and took some more classes or something at Cleveland State before you left for Redneck University....

See, don't you love threads like this? Everyone argues, someone is always posting an article about a murder because they love to be negative and report crime 24/7. This thread should just be closed, its ridiculous.
