Default Jobs in Cleveland

I am considering living in Cleveland in the future.
I know the landscape for jobs will probably be different but I just need a general feel.
I plan on pursuing a Bachelor's in Public Administration. I basically want to work for the government but I'd be fine working in the private sector.
Would this degree do anything for me in Cleveland or in Ohio in general?

If not, what degree should I go for? What are some industries that SEEM to be recession proof and there seems to be a great need/demand for?

A public admin degree would probably serve you better in Columbus, rather than Cleveland.

Cleveland area you would do well to be in the medical field (any type of work, but yes...nurse would be good) If you don't want to go all the way through nursing school, a degree in hospital administration, or whatever is below an RN.
Insurance is pretty big in Cleveland as well. No degree, except for biz for that, but you do need a license. Public sector jobs will always be a little more recession proof than private.
Good Luck

I've tossed my ambition of wanting to be a nurse to the side.
I appreciate the help. Thanks so much.
