Default Our trip to Canal Fulton and Orrville

My wife and I finally snuck in a quick trip to Orrville. First we stopped in Canal Fulton and drove by a rental home. We then took Warwick Rd to 57 and headed south into Orrville. We parked at the library, strolled around the town, visited another rental home and stopped at Jeff's Cafe and had the Pepperjack Burger.

We really liked this area! It truly has a rural feel all around (silos and rolling hills) yet not far from
employment possibilities. We were also relieved to find out that the driving around here was a pleasure compared to the Columbus area; not to mention the Pittsburgh area where we live now.

We just want to give a good rep to the area. We can't put our finger on it but we got the impression that this area is settled and content. Does that make any sense to anybody out there?

Had a house in Orrville for a few years, now live in Akron. Do I miss the rural life!
Orrville is close to a lot, without all the crime and BS attributed to larger cities.

Get to Orrville in the summer for Depot Days, they have a railroad society there. They actually have excursions to Pittsburgh

The Orrville Railroad Heritage Society

Amish country just a few miles south of Orrville, very relaxing environment.

I love Orrville. I definitely feel the same way you do. It actually makes me feel like I'm not in a hurry to get anywhere or do anything. It's calming. I feel the same way about most of Wayne County in fact....Creston, Doylestown, Smithville...
