It Isn't About Your Pet Program
When The Government spend lots of money, it has to pay for it somehow. It can raise taxes, borrow money or "print" money. All of these actions, REGARDLESS OF WETHER YOU LIKE THE PROGRAM OR NOT, are Inflationary (duh)
Look at a simple automobile (even if you hate them). Try and imagine every step along the way that each part on that car was taxed, before it finally got bolted to the car, which you will pay sales tax on, after having paid income tax/capital gains on your earnings! Then consider, the car will probably change hands (taxed each time) at least four times during its "lifetime." Then consider that everything added to it, from gasoline to windshield wipers, will be taxed over and over again, before it finally reaches your car. Then, as if all this wasn't enough, consider what you pay for a drivers license and license plates. The tax burden is enormous!
Wages should be going up and Prices should be going down. That's how we get rich. Unfortunately, we keep going the wrong way

Cleveland is a horrible place to live, the sun only shines 3-4 months per year. Is so cold and depressing. All Cleveland schools are bad, the best school systems are Beachwood, Orange, Solon, Lyndhurst-South Euclid, Westlake to name a few more. Oh, the people are not friendly at all, they are as cold as the weather and rude as hell. You can get a house for a deal anywere in this economy not just Cleveland. Cleveland is #3 on Forbes for jobs, there are none.

This information is wrong in so many ways.
Ohio's public schools are better than most states. The Cleveland MSD is terrible, but a number of suburban Cuyahoga County school districts are amongst the best in the country.
And the weather is not pleasant most of the year. Winter can be bad at times, but other than the occasional big snowstorm (happens a couple of times a year), it's no worse than any other part of the Great Lakes region.
By the way, depression is an internal issue that individuals have, not something that describes an area. The Cleveland area isn't perfect--no place is--but lots of people, including myself, have built a high quality of living for themselves here. I don't understand why people feel the need to bash other areas, but I suspect it has something to do with their own insecurities.

Pretty much what I was going to say. That negative post sounds like it came from a hater who has not experienced living in other places and has not bothered to do any research about their claims.

No one said that. Just as the other extreme, the idea that everything about Cleveland is negative, is equally as silly.

Very sad for you. I am in the process of moving back to Cleveland. I have lived all over the US, and am coming back b/c of the great things Cleveland does have. Winter can be lovely, even on the grey days...if you aren't a depressed person. I know people get Seasonal Depression (so please don't come back at me with that), but knowing that winter is just a season like all others, and you can escape on a vacation to rejuve...comm'on.
Cleveland has some of the best schools. I currently reside in FL which has sun year round..BUT..it has crap schools, bugs the size of TX, fire ants in every lawn, Blazing heat that makes your a** stick to your car seat, nothing but retirees who will never pass a tax levy to help the area, no museums, culture, arts, everyone is transient~ so their is no hometown pride, no sports teams (for the most part...and if they have them, their fans suck b/c they go to the games to see the teams they grew up with play..), and I could go on. There are NO JOBS in FL, and if you find one, you'll make 1/2 what you make anywhere north of Georgia. Ohio is suffering the same as most of the country. You sound bitter and your comments are so grossly overblown. I'm sorry if something horrible is happening to you, but Cleveland actually has a lot to offer most people.
On that note...got an email from one of the managers I oversee. This person is from the Southeast originally, but currently residing in TX. When he found out we were moving back to Cleveland...he said "Good for you, Cleveland is a great town. I worked there for a couple years on a project, and I really enjoyed it. The winters are rough, but overall...you are making a great move". Now, that came from someone who has lived in 30 of the 50 states.

No one that was defending Cleveland said that the sun shines 365 days a year. That's the point I was making.
