Yes, I've been to CAM several times, very nice. One thing I will miss about Akron is the Vietnamese church (even though I'm not Christian, it's a nice place to be with a large group of Vietnamese people) and the Vietnamese grocery store owned by two ladies from Viet Nam. I'll still be driving down to those once a month or so!

I guess I would be remiss if I didn't at least check out Asiatown - can you recommend any particular streets or areas by it that are nice?

I have never actually lived in Asiatown so I can't point you directly to housing. But I have shopped at Asia Plaza and a couple other of the specialty stores on Payne Ave. Most of the activity in Asiatown is between E. 30th St. and E. 40th St. and between Superior and St. Clair. Also, check out Saigon on E. 4th St. and #1 Pho at E. 30th St. and Superior, both great Vietnamese restaurants owned by the same person. On W. 25th St., there is also a Cambodian restaurant that is supposed to be very good (Phnom Penh). For a listing of some other restaurants in that area, check out the following:

The best advice I can give you for more information is to post these questions on urbanohio.com, there are some people there who actually live in the neighborhood and could be much more specific on what you will want to check out:
