Default Cleveland Heights Neighborhoods

I'm comparing neighborhoods here.
Essex, Corydon, Coleridge look and feel like great areas.
How do they stack up w/Princeton, Queenston.

I'm sure they're both great, I'm just trying to get a feel for what makes each of them nice areas.

The homes and lots in the Fairfax/St. Ann's neighborhood (Corydon/Coleridge) are a little bit bigger than their counterparts in the Canterbury neighborhood (Princeton/Queenston). The archictecture in the former is also more unique than the latter. Both areas a quiet, safe middle-class parts of Cleveland Heights that provide quick access east or west via Fairmount. What other specifics would you like to know?

Why is the neighborhood referred to as Fairfax/St. Anns?

Fairfax is the elementary school. St. Ann's is a large catholic church. I grew up on Coleridge Road, and back then on Sunday mornings you would see about a third of the families in the neighborhood driving (and sometimes even walking) to St. Anns.

Yeah, that's not the official name of either neighborhood, but Canterbury and Fairfax are the local public elementary schools and St. Ann's is the Catholic Parish on the corner of Coventry/Cedar.

Just heard that they are thinking of changing the name of St.Ann's now that Christ the King and St. Louis are part of it........what a shame,,

It's all Bishop Lennon. I don't think many Catholics in the Cleveland area like him very much. As an outsider, he seems mostly apathetic to the concerns of locals.

But don't worry about St. Ann's, Mayor Kelley plans to go all the way to the Vatican to challenge any potential name change.
