Need help, moving to Cleveland...
My husband and I are moving with our 1 year old son to Cleveland. He will be working near the airport. We have no family in Cleveland so we are looking for a very family friendly community to live in. We seem to keep going back to Strongsville and Brunswick based on what we have seen and the houses we can afford. Can anyone offer any input on this? What about Middleburg Heights?
Thank you, we are getting frustrated becuase there seems to be so many good suburbs on the west side and we are overwhelmed.

I think you said it best, there are too many good suburbs on the westside.
That then asks the question, what is important to you?
- proximity to the Airport
- parks
- shopping
- Lake shore
- other activities?
It seems like schools are not a priority right now, and the schools area pretty even across the board in that general area anyway.

Schools are a priority because ideally we don't want to have to move again. My husband would like to keep his commute between 20-30 min max. We do want parks, we would like at least a .2 acre lot that is somewhat private. Our most important thing is a young neighborhood with kids and people our age. Any suburb sound good? Any input on Brunswick?

Brunswick and Strongsville are very close together and are slightly similar. Brunswick is located in Medina County which tends to have lower taxes, that is probably the only thing that is different about Brunswick compared to Strongsville. Strongsville is home to the Cleveland Metroparks and Brunswick is close to Hinckley Lake. Middleburg Heights, Strongsville, and Middleburg Heights are similar in many ways. I would say that the school districts are of equal quality in these three cities and all have great recreation centers. I would go for Strongsville or the North Side of Brunswick because I seel alot of families out there. I would recommend you to focus on neighborhoods between Center Road (303) and Royalton Road (82) to find the type of neighborhood you are looking for with a decent amount of land, young families, and close proximity to South Park Mall in Strongsville.

I would recommend Rocky River and North Olmsted. Both are very close to the airport and great communities. Rocky River was rated as Cleveland's 4th best suburb this year.

For the second time today, I'd recommend Berea. How does a 5 minute commute sound? lol
