Default How good is mayfield village (Not heights)

Hi: I am a student to CWRU, and would be here for 3 years. I am right now looking for buying a house here for living. My agent recommended one in mayfield village. Is this city a good one? How is the school system and life style in there? Thanks.

Mayfield Village feeds into the same school district Mayfield Hts. does, and the district is good. The Village is a great place to live, but I'm curious to know if you are planning to stay beyond your 3 years here. If you're looking to buy for resale in 3 years, don't do it. You, most likely, won't make any money. If you're planning to stay, go for it, the Village is a very safe, clean and nice place to live. (my sis lives there!)

i agree with the above poster, if you are looking to resell in 3yrs and make money, that is highly unlikely... some of the homes in mayfield village have been for sale for awhile.. i live in mayfield hts.. both areas are decent.
