If I had a million dollars
or at least made 3 or 4 times what I do.
I have a Vespa. Many times I will scoot around my nieghborhood down streets just to see what kind of houses are on them. I went down a Street called Greenwood and saw this amazing house at the end of a dead end street completely hidden from view of the street. I went down the driveway and fell in love. Absolutely gorgeous home!! The back yard is the Valley of the Metropark. I ran home and told my wife "if this is less then $250,000 we are MOVING!". (That's even a bit higher then I would realistically pay for a home but I would pay it in a second for this house).
Then I found it at Howard Hanna.
Yea.... I won't be moving any time soon.

Isn't it amazing?!?!
For people not familiar with the area that is the Cleveland Metroparks in the 2nd picture. The view from the deck on the back of the house. -sigh- Love to be drinking my morning coffee right there right now.
This is on the very edge of Westside Cleveland proper.
Let's use this thread for NE Ohioans to showcase cool homes for sale in the area. No professionals please. Just people that know of or see a really cool area home.

Really nice classic house, but I'll bet the annual utility costs are as large as the annual property tax bill.

This house is very affordable, even with views of Lake Newport. But it is on Youngstown's upper south side, not too far from some of the worst neighborhoods in the city.

That house is amazing!!! Good price too. We spent about that on a house in NC and ours is nothing compared to that. I love old houses tho, especially 1930s Tudors.

Back when I lived in Lakewood, these were two of my very favorite houses there... and now they're up for sale:
13405 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107 - Realtor.com
17869 Lake Road, Lakewood, Ohio 44107 - Realtor.com
I actually once toured the house in the second listing... back in 1989 it was on the Lakewood Homes Tour during the city's centennial celebration. The house was named "Inglewood" and was originally built for someone in the Glidden family (of the Glidden Paint Company).

By comparison(yeah, right), here's what a 100large will get you down by the border in southeast Arizona......
Sierra Vista, AZ, 85650 - MLS ID#127112 - Mfd/Mobile Home real estate - REALTOR.com®
if you want a acre or more of land with it, add at least 25grand.
sad, eh?
