When I think of the old Cleveland Stadium, I always remember those horrible troughs in the Men's room - bad for people with shy bladders! Also, I remember winter tailgating in the parking lot before Browns games, where we would fill the metal trash cans with wood and beer packaging for a great bonfire. Even as a teenager we would be out in the open drinking and partying, and the cops would just look the other way. The Coliseum was like that until about 1988 as well - I remember being 16 years old, sitting on top of my car before a Van Halen concert drinking a 2-liter of Sun Country wine cooler (hey, it was the 80's) with cops and security everywhere - a teen ager could never get away with that now! And of course, if my kids did that, they would be dead!!!

I remember those too, though in attending Indians games I generally had the men's room to myself...

I never went into the men's rooms, but the ladies' rooms were no picnic, either. They were to be avoided if you could help it -- probably no coincidence that every now and then I'd get a bladder infection a few days after a Browns game (is that TMI??? ).
New plumbing, fresh coat of paint -- the place would have been just like new! LOL

The Hill and bridge on Hillandale rd. Stephensons market, Palisades Bowl 1 and 2, Euclid Mall, Kenny Kings and Brown Derby on Lakeshore Dr. Krogers, Daffy Dans, Ground Round, Lower Level bar, flipout hill, Neff road. I lived in Euclid from 1969-1980 and miss it very much.

Hate to see this not continue....... To combine two memories into one, the restrooms at the stadium were particularly nasty at the WSoR concerts. I remember you had to hold your breath, run in, try not to trip over someone passed out, do what you had to and run out.
