It's one of my memories with him that sticks out since he passed not too long afterwards. I've found that music can take you back to memories during a particular time and place in your life. If someone can find it or upload it, and you're still in the Cleveland area, I'll buy you a beer!

I wasn't able to find it anywhere but I now have that jingle running through my head!

Cleveland girl, born and raised. Lived there from 1961 to 1975 (8 years on the East Side around E 131/Miles area), 6 years in West Park near Puritas/Rocky River Dr), then Portage County 1975-1979 and then moved out West permanently. To this very day, I can still remember the little Jingle about "Cleveland's a great place to live...cuz the best things in life are here!" Lots of Clevelanders here in Phoenix, AZ where I now live...and we always reminisce. One person will invariable say parma and one of us will go "PARMA?" and everyone laughs. Great "inside joke" that the Phonenicans will never get! lol. From time to time I say, I really should go back to visit, but most of my family is either passed on or no longer living back in Cleveland, so there's no real point. Still it's fun to reminisce with other Clevelanders, just the same.

Does anyone remember the name of the buffet that was in Parma, that the food was on a conveyer belt type system and you stood there and the food came around to you???

Use the aerial index to find the location of interest. Then look up the image number on the list at the right to retrieve the image.
