Cleveland Gangs (Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton: 2009, violent crime, neighborhood)

Does Cleveland Have the worst gang problem in 0hio?... I think so because its 90 gangs on the streets and 120 in the schools.... thats 210 GANGS!! to add to my point over the past week kids have been gettin shot by drive by's, over drugs, gang territory, and clothes. How do I know this? Because I live in the hood been livin hood life since 92... I used to claim dat cuz gang ( If u don't no what gang I mean its crips but I gave it up. The Cleveland gangs are gettin smarter and larger, with tighter drug connections around the world, and affiliations with national gangs like the Latin Kings,Crips, Vicelords, Slobks (bkloods), and the Folks. So it will get worse so yes in my opinion I think Cleveland has the worst gang problem in Ohio.... What do you all think.....

you want an honest answer , maybe , cause I don't know , westside here,
there where ,want to be gangs trying to f with the hard working people of this city , the Police , finally were able to do justice , and arrest the people , that said , But it seems you want this kind of activity to continue , because instead of pointing out , that Cleveland Police has a gang unit , you want to hear that other people agree that this city is
full of gangs , Maybe it is , I don't know cause all is cool here at my house, the kids here seem ok , Never know though, but I would rather know ,to try and get the city , churches , ect to help , cause not doing so, would lead to , what your saying , and where are the parents, that's
the whole problem , Just cause your from the "hood" does not mean you will be, have to , or will be in a gang. From so many of the young people
I have talked to (my family ) , and thier friends , it seems the thought is
something is owed to them .

You are wrong because if I wanted gang violence to continue don't you think I would've stayed gangbangin? I'll let you think about it for a minute.......................ok and I no cleveland has a gang unit that is trying its best to take down gangs but guess what.....SO DOES MANY OTHER CITIES!!! And I didn't say that if you live in the hood that you will or have to be in a gang because I no all kids in the hood aren't bad....I live in the hood and I go to John Hay's School of Architecture and Design, the only high school in Cleveland's public school system with and excellent rating....I have a 4.0GPA and have colleges recruiting me so I no being from the hood doesn't make you a bad person. The reason I mentioned the 210 gangs and the drive by's was because I was just stating facts for people who are viewing this forum that don't know about Cleveland's gang and Violent Crime Problem......Also I don't care if people agree with me or not because even though I'm a teen I no people are entitled to their own opinions so don't go saying thing you don't know about....From now on pump your brakes before you come at me posting garbage!!!! There is a Cleveland sub-forum, and this thread is pointless. There are already multiple topics like this in the Cleveland sub-forum. Ctown, don't bash other people because they probaly know more than you. Their post was a hell of a lot more informative than any of yours.

As a 4.0 GPA student you should recognize that from your perspective it must seem that Cleveland is the worst: BECAUSE YOU LIVE HERE. You have nothing to compare it to. If you lived in the hood in Columbus, and believe me there are hoods in Columbus, you would be saying the same thing about the state capital.

Cleveland has more gang problem then the suburbanites would ever know. Just because most don't operate of a national level or aren't called the Crips or Bloods, doesn't mean they aren't in Cleveland. I actually saw a website before that listed Ohio as having the 3rd most gang members in the nation and Cleveland being in the top 10 for overall gang pop.
