In my city and nearby, their police had never pulled out a gun to a suspect until 2007. This was a 24 years in a roll record something like that.
Orange/solon/Chargrin fall are basically risk free unless you try to drive a RTV/ATV, seriously.

Not sure I understand the last comment...sorry. Right now I am thinking Beachwood, Lakewood or Cleveland Heights but heavens knows if anything is even available there....distances for Beachwood or Lakewood..are they about the same?
24 year old grown males these days are not the same as 24 grown males years ago!

He is saying he lives on the westisde of Cleveland (like me) and has never felt unsafe, and niether have I. There are some bad areas of Cleveland, just like any major city, but a large percentage of it is very safe.

Orange is a Village , because of its population , it is on the Eastern Side
of Cuyahoga County , The Same County as all the other Cities you have asked about,
It is very upper class , and it would be , in my thought , be very costly to rent , When other areas would be just as safe .
Your thought on staying East , is a good idea , The closer to Euclid the better for your son .
On the 24 old from back in the day , to Now A - Days , That is so true !

So close to Euclid but not Euclid....Beachwood would be boring? Cleveland Heights is better or too close to East Cleveland...on my map it looks like they are neighbours.

Go to Willoughby Hills if he is just here for 7 months. Big stupid ugly apartment towers, close the highway, safe. No reason he should commute from Hts, Lakewood, etc..
He's a big boy. Willoughby Hills is safe. Euclid really isnt that bad either, but the Lincoln plant is isolated from residential and very safe.

I was also going to say, what you should be worried most about finding place that will rent for 7 months. I'd say 80-90% of the places in Northeast Ohio require a minumin of a one-year lease.
