I understand what youre saying. Cincy had a lot of bad things happen, especially with the riots in 2001, that was national news. All your trying to say is Cincy is a rough city and its not getting recognized enough for it, I understand that. Both the cities arent getting the attention they deserve as bad as they are. Cincy and Cleveland both had a lot of bad things happen, both the crime rates arent too far apart either, and poverty is bad in both the cities. They both have bad inner ring and crime on both sides of town.

I'm pretty sure Cleveland had more crime downtown - including a few murders last year. There is one nice area on the west side, the rest is pretty spotty. There are bad communities in Cleveland, inner ring suburbs, and even outer ring. Although Cleveland has a lot of nice suburbs. Browns, Indians, etc have been robbed before... where are you going with that?
Your arguments do nothing for you. Cleveland doubling Cinci in murders is enough evidence alone that Cleveland has more violence.

I am planning a visit to Cleveland this year, and wanted to see the factories and steel mill. But after reading this long, distressing thread I feel like I will probably get killed just driving into what you guys call the "war zone". That's how this thread makes me feel: like just setting foot into Cleveland will get me killed. The way people describe Detroit makes me feel the same way. But I never felt that threatened in Pittsburgh or Columbus.
