The economics of winning sports teams <3

I can only imagine all the extra business Cleveland's bars and clubs would see if all teams were above .500
You wouldn't see the exodus right after the game ended. People would continue spending money and socializing, there'd be more life. I constantly remind myself of what would happen if we didn't have the Cavaliers. There'd be nothing to cheer for really.

I'm not sure if it's a generation thing but a lot of people my age tend to show so much more love for the Cavs and basketball in general. All I ever hear about, just like you said, are Indians/Browns. The Cavs winning a championship would be a great thing for everyone here. If the Browns ever win another super bowl though, ****.... lol there might be riots

No way. Baseball city. I don't get it myself.
