In or Around Parma
Prakash,
Hi, I grew up in Parma and still own my home there but work out of state at the moment. (I know more about houses than apartments, but I know the entire area, so depending on what you want. . )
It will depend on what you are looking for.
There are a lot of nice Doubles (houses with one apartment up and one down) near Parma High (W.54th). With this you get the use of a (semi-)private yard and only one (direct) neighbor. These are generally 2 - 3 bedroom. This area is about a mile (to 1.25 miles I think) to Parmatown mall- BUT Parmatown is kind of falling on hard times
(As far a other large mall in the area: SouthPark is further out of Downtown -south- but still growing and Great Northern is large but again further out - to the West).
There are also 2 - 6 family apt/homes on Ridge Rd. by the Parma Circle (a little North of Ridgewood).
When you get towards the north side of town there are older homes and some areas that have some low income housing - so a little more caution is needed in picking.
This is a fairly easy commute to Downtown (1 option W 54th to Brookpark to I-480 to I-176(?) to I-71, but this is less than a half hour if I recall correctly).
near the mall are a variety of garden and tower aparments - but I don't know about the current conditions there; but there are many choices (you may want to check www.apartmentratings.com
I believe there are some newer, kind of nice apartments in Parma Heights by the Parkway and Stumph Rd.
