I had clearwire here in washington state and it sucked...I dropped them as soon as I had the chance...The service was always down, the internet was NOT fast, and they billed me for services I didnt even have.....

For the most part, cable, FiOS, and UVerse are going to be the fastest you can get residentially. With cable, I get 18 Mbps down and 4-6 Mbps up. That's as fast as I need it to be.

Did that include 4G service? I was kind of interested in the hotspot thingy to bring the internet around with me. I googled Clear and got some disparaging results with regards to customer service, data caps, speed throttling etc.

I really don't remember the 4g network.. I think so...The customer service was not good at all...The speed is very slow...You would be better off going elsewhere
