Have you seen this?

Big Chuck, Dick Goddard, Carl Monday, guy from Nortons Furniture, Tim Misny, Ted Strickland, etc. and about 25 other Clevelanders singing on a parody to "We are the world 25 (for the Haiti disaster)", begging Lebron to stay.

YouTube - We Are LeBron - A Break Originals Video

Thoughts?

I think it's funny, but honestly kind of embarrassing.

Where was Mayor Frank Jackson? He has a good voice. lol

Anyway, it is nice. I mean, what other city would do all this just for Lebron?

However, it is embarrasing. All the local celebs, people of importance, and the Governor singing "We really need you(Lebron)" and the council men singing "You're saving our Downtown". When the council, senator, and governor are singing, it doesn't say much about our city.

This goes to show you what ONE guy means to our city.

By the way, just wondering:

Who payed for Gov. Strickland's flight from Columbus to Cleveland? Did he personally pay for it, or did we? lol

I don't get on here that much anymore, I am kind of giving up on Ohio. This state is a lost cause, and this video kind of shows another reason why. Wow, this is pathetic, and Governor Strickland should just curl up and never be seen again. A governor making a city look ever worse than it already does nationally. The video has over 64,000 views, and most comments are all negative about Cleveland. The city in many ways deserves it's bad reputation.

If Lebron leaves, oh well. He deserves a place like Chicago or New York. Anyway, I have been busy these last couple weeks, moving back to Philly. Ohio is really suffering, and I only see it getting worse, especially in Cleveland. Best of luck to Cleveland and the Cavs.

I was personally embarrassed by the video. When we have certain "celebrities" that look like their homeless living on the street (Marc from the Norton Furniture commercial and the one WNCX personality), that tells you something about our fair city.

There was so much more they could of done to make that video worthwhile (for example, people who can actually sing). And how in the world is Tim Misny, and Marc from Norton Furniture a local celebrity? Just because they spend money on commercials and put themselves in it do not make them celebrities. I didn't see Burt Kay from Volks in there, Mike the Hatter or whatever his name is, or Friedman, Dominio, and Smith.

I have watched it, and it was terrible. Might be the final straw Lebron needs to leave the Cavs it was so bad! I'm blaming it on this video if he leaves.

By the way, how come Carl Monday who is supposedly a top-notch investigator hasn't gotten to the bottom of the rumors going on amidst Lebron's mother and also as to what Lebron is going to do the first week of July?? Just thinking out loud!

I was listening to Jim Rome on my lunch break yesterday (something I rarely do), he was talking about what an embarrasment the above video is. He suggests Lebron should leave BECAUSE of the video.

This video, to me, is looking less like a joke and more like a pathetic act of desperation to make Lebron stay. Plus they could have at least gotten some people that can actually sing, like hold auditions or we do have locals like the O'Jays, Avant, and Cherri Dennis, among many others. Of course I don't think too many people looking to keep their reputation would participate in something like this.

Wow this is surprising coming from you Beavercreek, I always remember you as being positive and optimistic about Cleveland and the state of Ohio even when everyone else wasn't. Why the sudden change?

It's nice how the community can come together to show the love they have for one man, but the video could have gone much better than that. It really is embarrassing, not for Cleveland alone but for anywhere in USA that we have to resort to that kind of desperation.

I hope he stays, but I know what the chances are.
