Can anyone give me any info on these two complexes:

Meridian Park
Brasswood (I or II)

Even what they look like from the outside, anything. They are so far the only two in the South Central District that have leases less than 12 months. My dad has a job (knock on wood, still have a few things to smooth out with the company) in Rocky Mount, and although we went on the interview there and it was very nice, we aren't sure we would want to live there, plus the apartment selection is nearly nonexistant. We are waiting for our house up north to sell, so we need somewhere to stay for 3-6 months. We want to live in Greenville and the houses we are looking at are in the South Central district (I'm a junior, so switching high schools once is going to be enough for me.) We'd need to move in by mid-august. Anyone have any suggestions besides those listed above???

Of the two you mentioned, I would most recommend Meridian Park. Meridian Park's location isn't the most desirable, but the apartments are pretty nice and the community is well-kept.

I think Brasswood is lower-end, but I have never been inside one before. Have you tried doing a short term lease with a property management group? You may want to look into a group such as Russell Property Management (think that is the name). With the economy the way it is, they may entertain short term leases. I know Russell has some places in Dudley's Grant for lease, which would be a good place to stay short term.
