Default Rental Property Sources Near Chocowinity?

We might be moving to the Chocowinity area and are trying to search for rental possibilities via the internet or newspapers or something, we're in Oklahoma.
Locations might include Grimesland, Chocowinity, Simpson, even out to the Aurora area where the job is.

We have been trying to find resources to just check out rental ideas and what is avail. We need a home, not apartment and nothing that costs a fortune. I saw one that was $1200 a month or something like that. This is only until we find a place to purchase.

So far about all we can find to look up are the Reflector and the newspaper out of Little Washington.

Any other tips??? Please?

Thanks very much

We did call about one property that was more a vacation rental than what we were looking for, the person was very nice and told us that with all the highway construction projects going on in the area most the 'typical' rental options are taken up by those workers.

just maybe an fyi if sombody else reads this...

atman-I would call the local realty offices of the towns you are interested in. They sometimes manage rentals also or they can give you info on some rental companies. Can the company you are going to work for give you any help in this area?
