We are earthy, artsy, foodie, sporty, ocean-lovers. We like unique, funny, interesting, down-to-earth people. We so love our Whole Foods, farmers market, outdoor spaces, access to town centers cities. We are 26 and have a one year old. We look forward to having more kids.

Any suggestions for where we should live?

Wilmington, NC!!! Virginia Beach lacks any sort of culture and the food scene is terrible.

Wilmington for you, I'd say. Jacksonville, New Bern, and Moorehead City all have a heavy military presence due to the USMC bases along the coast, and their chosen lifestyle and culture might not be compatible with one who is "artsy" and "earthy." That said, welcome and I hope you prosper well....

Where do you live now? What line of work are you in, and be sure that that field is hiring in wherever you want to end up. Just "wanting" to live somewhere doesn't always mean it's feasiable.

Look at Raleigh or Chapel Hill. You could be at the beach in a couple of hours.
