Morehead City/ Atlantic Beach area, has a community college close by, small town, friendly people, great fishing, if, after becoming a N.C. citizen you wish to further your education beyond what a community college offers, the state of N.C. offers a wide variety of both colleges and state supported Universities. (I lived in Newark for almost a year and a half, Dupont Brat spoken here.)

Yes, I was aware of that. The first weekend I moved here I went fishing at Falls Lake and I was told to check out Eno River State Park and also Jordan Lake. All close.

Being from the same area as she is and having the same criteria as she does I can tell you that a fresh water lake just ain't gonna cut it.
