Then you should be in fairly good shape, especially if you are willing to sign a year lease. Research places online you may like and make appointments to visit them the first day, take notes, even print this thread for reference. If you find your dream place, great, spend the rest of your time exploring the city. If not, I suggest going to a real estate agency, they might know of rentals you wouldn't find on your own (I suggest Aldridge and Southerland, but any agency would be willing to help). That is the best advice I can give you, if you need any more help feel free to ask.

Mr. Mehoff is right. Greenville is nothing but a bunch of trash...

BTW, I am ECU grad and I can't stand Greenville either and I am glad I no longer live there.

Ya know somewhere I forgot, but someone could have mentioned it. There are a bunch of apartments, minus The Landing, between Charles and Arlington Blvd. South of Red Banks and North of Firetower. I actually have a couple of working grads that live there.
