Hi everyone!
My family is being re-located to Wilmington NC for work. We feel clueless about where to start for home rentals. We are renting 100% sure. We LOVE the Mayfaire area but the rentals are very pricey. We are looking around $1000 ish a month for a small house (3 bed). We want a nice area with minimal yard work. School districts do not matter. Any recommendations on neighborhoods with good rentals??? We would love to be the cheapest house in the neighborhood- not the most expensive.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

well, pull up a map and find Pine Valley,
then look all along Myrtle grove road ,
also along River road and in the general area of what is called Monkey Junction.

if you look at a map there are a ton of neighborhoods south from Oleander/college road
intersection .

one of my personal favorite areas is Wrightsville Ave. it is a mix of anything from mobile homes to
the most quaint bungalows.

this should provide you with a start , many other areas north of town but I am not very familiar
with these.
I would want to make sure to be on the wilmington side of the river, just my preference. good luck.

this is where a computer search engine is your friend.
I mentioned several areas for you to look in, there is
no way I can decide which one is best for you,
hence a trip to the area is the way to go before moving.

you mentioned that you loved mayfaire, well , look at a map
and find areas/neighborhoods close to Military Cutoff road so that
you can at least be in the vicinity of Mayfaire.
