Maybe i should have said my wifes job a different way.

She does work for printing company. BUT her job is like with photoshop, placement of ads, stuff like that i guess it would be more graghic design

Ok Guys I think i have a pretty good chance of getting a job at G.E. as machinist for ge aviation.

my question is this where exactly is this facility and where would be a nice starter apartment for a bit?

IF it's in the same spot where my husband works, find where I-140 crosses 133 (Castle Hayne Rd) and just above that is the GE facility. If you look on the hybrid map of google of the area, you can see the plant. Liz

There are graphic designer jobs here-there was one at WECT(channel 6 TV station)just recently.

cool do you guys live far from there?
it will be me and the wife if i take job?
does your husband do engineer?
is ge union?

We are down in Leland where 133 heads south to Southport. It's just over 12 miles (and about 17 mins if he hits the timing/bridges just right).

My husband is by education a mechanical engineer, by job training a nuclear engineer, and works with the ABWR at GE.

As to being union...you know, I don't know. I know that my husband isn't. And I doubt this plant is since it is in NC, a right to work state. Altho there might be unions there. Liz

i am originally from the mountains of w.v. do you think ill like it there?
i love to hunt fish atv you know what i mean (farm)
i am really anticipating the move if it happens trying to choose between ge. and honda jet that is coming to greensboro.
both well paying but i think the wife is leaning me towards the coast.

could you recomend an area i would be comfortable in?
like i said im a country boy love my privacy but i dont want to drive miles and miles to work or the beaches
