Not turning this into a political thread but it is amazing how people forgot about the incredibly hot and long summer we and the rest of the northern hemisphere had in 2010. Maybe if you actually read up on Global warming instead of listening to right-wing pundits, you would learn something.
And by the way, I do believe Global Warming is happening but am unsure if we are responsible or it is natural.

Just three days ago I posted the following in the Rising sea level forum: I enjoy watching the Global Warming Advocates quickly resort to attacking the intelligence of all who do not agree with them. Vitriol is always their last bastion.

Seems I'm better at predicting the Global Warming/Cooling/Climate Change crowd than they are at predicting Global Warming/Cooling/Climate Change!!

We were driving home from Raleigh and didn't see any snow until we reached Jacksonville where they had just a trace. As we traveled Hwy 17 towards Maysville the roads were becoming snow covered and there were a couple of cars that slid off the road. It wasn't until we turned south on Hwy 58 that the snow became very heavy and the road completely covered. The further south we drove the heavier the snow. By the time we reached Stella, Morristown Road, visibility was less than 1/4 mile. I almost slid past Morristown Road even though we were moving 20 MPH. I finally stopped 40 ft. later in front of the left lane of Morristown Rd.

After that I didn't use the brakes any more....just L1 and L2 for the 2 hills that remained on Wetherington Landing Rd.

We had approximately 4 inches in Stella on White Oak Bluff.
