Hi all , I have a son whom will be four years old in July. I have looked into the Head Start program but since we live off of hwy 158 in the Morgan's Corner area of Elizabeth City the bus won't come this far. I have heard that there is some kind of preschool/pre-k program within the regular school but I can't seen to find anything on it. We really don't have the money to take him and pick him up everyday and there is no kind of funding to help with such. Does anyone know of any Pre-k / Preschool program that is free to low income levels where the bus will actually come pick him up outside of 'downtown Elizabeth City limits'? He is really excited about going, and it breaks my heart . Thank you all in advance
