Our favorite is nicola's on oleander. The chef is Sicilian and the food is good and authentic. Second choice Osteria cicchetti in the forum off military cutoff.

otherwise -- brooklyn pizza has good pizza, especially white pizza. elizabeth's pizza is popular for massive pasta dishes. we have an olive garden, a carrabba's, and a local place called fat tony's that is mediocre. there is a place called terrazzo trattoria, which i just remember being really dark inside in the summertime, and expensive.
