Hi-I am originally from the philadelphia area and have been relocated to Baltimore (yuck!) I am ready to relocate to North Carolina now and not sure where the best option would be, I was looking for and open to any suggestions! I am 30 and a hairstylist. I keep looking at Wilmington and would love any opinions about it! I would love a safe, fun, energetic community with a downtown type of district thrown in, would Wilmington be that?? Thanks so much!!

Hair is a good service sector job that ILM will support/pay for. Plus with film community, etc.- lots of that type of work....seem to be tons of salons. On the 30's side- maybe not the best. Lots of retirees & college students. Gets younger during tourist season (families, etc.). Triangle is younger & more vibrant- but no beaches....

Wilmington or Durham - but Durham is 2.5 hours away from the beach. It's 2.5 hours closer to the mountains, though. Good luck!
